Discovering The Disney Aulani

The Disney Aulani is an incredible resort which has everything you would like to do activity wise in one place from swimming , snorkeling , paddle boarding and much more.  The resort also has a public lagoon that is netted so young ones can’t venture out into the water. The Aulani delivers a daily activity schedule called the Daily Iwa, so you can plan your day. The activities are categorized for individual , family, teens and children.  Hotel guests are allowed to do self guided tours of the Aulani which is included in the Daily Activity Schedule . The water activities are alot of fun, and the daytime and evening entertainment are outstanding.  In the evening the Aulani also provides daily turn down bed service upon request.

The hospitality at the Aulani was truly Hawaiian. Upon arrival at the resort, the valets who greeted us were very friendly, the cast members (staff) welcomed us with a Lei and offered us water mixed with fruit slices, and the greeting “Welcome Home” was an added touch.  We were given a personal and brief orientation of the Aulani and the amazing artwork in the lobby. After, we were taken to the front desk to check in.

As we entered our villa, we were overwhelmed with excitement. With our eyes and mouth wide open, all we could say was “WOW” .  The layout of our villa and the Hawaiian decor was absolutely beautiful.  From our lanai, we had a poolside view and every morning we would sit and watch the sun rise.  Staying in a room that provided all the comforts of home, from a fully equipped kitchen to a laundry closet was a bonus.

For us, the  best part of our stay was the relaxation. There are plenty of areas to enjoy the beauty of the resort and the rising and setting of the sun.  It was hard for us to leave the Aulani on our last day.

Much thought, imagination, local and cultural cooperation is what makes the Disney Aulani an experience to remember and return to.  We look forward to our next stay at the Aulani.  And, as “Goodbye, till we meet again” is said in Hawaiian,  “A Hui Hou”
